Hi! I’m Pooja — the founder, writer, photographer and chief adventure-seeker behind Travel Nesty. I’m an India-based traveler with deep Nepali roots, and I’ve been exploring the world with a mission: to make travel more accessible, honest, and meaningful for Indian travelers.

I created Travel Nesty because I was tired of finding travel content that assumed you had an unlimited budget, a western passport, or were traveling from Europe. I wanted guides written for people like me — carrying an Indian passport, looking for the best value, wanting real vegetarian food options, and navigating visa processes that weren’t designed to be simple.

So far I’ve explored Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia in Southeast Asia, and extensively traveled across India — from the beaches of Goa to the pink city of Jaipur, the mountains of Manali, and the misty hills of Mussoorie. Every single destination in my guides has been personally visited and honestly reviewed.
